There are so many different styles of bra around, it can sometimes be a challenge to know which style is best for what. At Eloise Lingerie we offer a range of bras that are suitable post mastectomy, they are specially designed with you in mind to offer support, shape you beautifully and boost your confidence. Below is a quick guide to the styles available and who or what they are most suitable for.

Non Wired Bra
The perfect choice for most ladies following surgery, with no wires to irritate the delicate breast tissue. A perfect example is the Royce Silver Post Surgery Bra. It's light fabric contains X-Static Silver fabric with anti bacterial properties. It also front fastening to make it easier for you to fasten with the restricted movement you may experience after a mastectomy.

Underwired Bra

Ideal for ladies with a heavier bust requiring more support and shape. Only to be worn after you have the go ahead from your doctor or breast care nurse. The Amoena Naomi Underwired Mastecomy Bra is made in a beautiful flat lace. This pretty bra gives you an excellent shape which you can still wear under closer fitting garments. It also features flexible wires for support and comfort.

Moulded Bra

Perfect for giving a smooth shape under close fitting tops. Doesn't add extra volume to the bust. One of our favourites is the Amoena Lara T-shirt Bra. It has narrow adjustable straps that make it great for wearing with vest tops, and it's seamfree cups give a smooth outline, which is also flattering to those who have slight deficit.

Sports Bra

Designed to support the bust during high and low impact activities. Usually made from more compressive fabrics. The Pure Lime Sports Bra is great for high impact sports. It features a deep band and wide straps to give total support whilst working out. The straps are also multiway so can be worn crossed over at the back. It is also suitable as a compression bra after reconstructive surgery.

Full Cup Bra
Offers full coverage of the bust. Perfect for ladies who have had extensive surgery or have a fuller bust. The Royce Jasmine Bra is one of our bestselling mastectomy bras. It's delicate detail gives this supportive bra a feminine touch and the strong fabric gives a good uplift.

Camisole Bra

Ideal for ladies who have radiotherapy burns or a large deficit to the chest wall. These mastectomy bras cleverly conceal with a pretty lace insert and allows you to wear lower cut tops. The Amoena Dana Camisole Bra is a perfect example, the cami lace disguises and helps you feel secure without the need for an extra layer, so that even when you lean forward the lace stays in place keeping you covered.
